Introduction
St Mark's is recognised as a national and international centre of clinical excellence for diagnosis and treatment of intestinal and colorectal disorders. As well as clinical services covering all aspects of colorectal disease and intestinal failure, it has many research interests and a very active programme of teaching and education.
Our mission is to provide a holistic approach to patient care whereby medical care is provided by multi-disciplinary teams. We believe that this affords the best level of care for our patients. This has been made possible by the close links between the each specialised team making St Mark's unique in its delivery of gastrointestinal healthcare. Our clinical services reflect our expertise in particular areas of gastrointestinal disease.
